At Trace Studio we like to keep our skills up to date and try new things. As part of this commitment, every month our CG artists are encouraged to participate in a themed monthly personal project.

The theme each month is overarching so individuals can be as creative with their output as they desire. This gives each person the freedom to produce either static or animation material with no limits.

Team members must share progress with each other to encourage everyone and generally collaborate on how they achieved the end visual. Even though it’s technically a competition we are still a team and it’s about pushing ourselves to be better artists and have fun.

We haven’t as of yet shared any of this work but we thought we would start out with one from a few months back entitled ‘The Bottle’
